For more than 15 years, Accord Services® has been providing in-home, private nursing services to people with TBI, SCI, or other catastrophic injuries. We also help people who are recovering from strokes, burns, and complex orthopedic injuries. Our exclusive focus means we have extensive experience and insight into what it takes to help you live your happiest, healthiest life.

Understanding In-Home Care

Accord Services® provides nursing care based on your physician’s recommendations. There are three types of nurses. RNs provide skilled medical care, including medicine administration. LPNs provide skilled care and they handle bowel and bladder needs, as well as medication administration. CNAs provide assistance with the tasks of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, and getting dressed.

We provide nurses based upon the type of care you need, individually matching clients and care providers based on skill set, personal compatibility, and other criteria. Your nurse is in your home to provide services to you: they are not allowed to take their attention away from you to care for other members of your household, even if you ask them to.

All Accord Services® nurses and staff are required to abide by a comprehensive set of rules which are in place to ensure your health and safety. If you ever have questions about the services your Accord Services® nurse can provide for you, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to answer any questions.

To learn more about how your Accord Services® nurse will work with your case manager, caregivers, and other members of your clinical team, please consult the client handbook. This is also the best place to look for information about your care reports and other clinical documentation.
